Our products are already established in the market. Your job is to make sure they are sold.

Bachmann develops Power Distribution Units (PDUs) for data centers and critical infrastructure – a technologically strong portfolio with a proven market fit.

What we are currently missing is not the product, but the global leverage: While we already have a strong position within the German distribution landscape, our international expansion is still in its early stages.

This is exactly where this role begins:

You will internationalize distribution and transfer a successful setup into new markets.

This is not about maintaining an existing structure. This is about building something new on an international scale.

Your Role – Operational, Market-Focused, and Influential

This is intentionally not a Head-of or purely strategic role.

Your focus is clearly on operational international channel and distribution sales. Where exactly? That is something you will help define through your expertise and network.

You will regularly visit distributors on-site, establish and strengthen relationships, position our products within their portfolios, and drive tangible business growth.

You stay close to what really matters: partners, customers, market developments, and commercial opportunities.

At the same time, you actively contribute these insights internally. As a sparring partner to the sales leadership team, you will help shape the future direction of our distribution strategy and influence where we invest our efforts going forward.

You do not simply execute a plan – you help define it through your experience and market knowledge.

What your day-to-day looks like

A significant part of your work takes place outside the office.

You will spend your time with distribution partners, leveraging your network, developing business together, and negotiating product listings, commercial agreements, and market positioning.

You identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives internally to unlock their potential.

Your impact is visible directly in the market – not only in meetings, reports, or presentations.

In short: high visibility, strong customer interaction, and direct business impact.

What You Need to Bring

There is one key requirement for this role:

You have a strong and established international network within the distribution or channel environment, ideally in one or more of the following areas:

  • IT infrastructure
  • Data centers / DCS
  • Rack solutions
  • Power distribution
  • Comparable infrastructure technologies

In addition, you bring:

  • Several years of experience in operational B2B sales
  • Proven experience working with international distributors and channel partners
  • A strong understanding of international market dynamics
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English
  • A willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis

Most importantly:

We are not looking for a pure strategist.
