Your tasks...

  • As a Sales Manager, you are responsible to continuously develop the sales territory on-site within the UK for our key focus market campaign, 360° Workspace. Focusing on key market sub-segments within the office and furniture segments
  • You present and sell our products via key account development, distribution partner development, customer visits (both direct and supporting distribution partners), training, exhibitions and follow-ups (online, phone or meeting)
  • You manage the entire sales cycle actively, from lead generation, developing/agreeing target account lists, lead management, joint visits with partners, to closing and exploring all sales opportunities
  • The acquisition of new customers is part of your role, as well as to maintain a long-term, cooperative relationship with existing customers, key accounts and distribution partners
  • You organize product trainings for your customers, distributors and manage the distributor network in your sales area
  • You are responsible for the sales performance of your area and to develop the necessary reports
  • You contribute to the correct branding and positioning of Bachmann and represent the company, as a professional provider and supplier in our key market segments
  • You work closely with the internal sales team, so that all clients receive a professional service

Your skills ...

  • An electrical or commercial background and an understanding of the electrical or related software application sector
  • Professional experience in the electrical industry, office furniture industry or similar industries and experience with office furniture traders
  • An independent and methodical approach to work and natural interpersonal skills
  • Perseverance in a results-driven sales approach
  • You are working from home (approx. 2 days/week) and your location allow to travel within your sales region (approx. 3 days/week). A flexible approach will be needed based on the business requirement and customer demands
  • Excellent product awareness and product presentation skills in order to present technical products at the customer premises and in our showroom
  • Previous experience in quotations, project sales, CRM tools and different sales channels
  • Dynamic, motivated and open minded person
